After meetings at the Presbyterian UN office and the Poverty Initiative at Union Seminary on Monday, I took a wander around New York. I was especially interested in something I’d read about in my guide book: an old elevated railway line along the West Side of town which has been converted into an innovative public park, called The High Line.
Although it was a showery day, I enjoyed a couple of hours along the High Line and in some of the more picturesque parts of the city.
There’s some pictures in my Picasa album. Click to go further from here .
